Because I love to buy little girl clothes! :-)
Don't tell Pat, but I gave away all of Orla's old clothes years ago knowing that there is always more cute stuff to buy if we were to ever be blessed with another girl! heeheeheee!
At the end of last summer I picked up a few dresses on clearance. And here and there, I would let myself buy a toy or a bib. But now I feel that I have the license to SHOP! ;) I figured that when we bring her home she will probably still be wearing 3-6 mos. While in Vietnam the temperatures will be in the 80's...and VERY HUMID. And Faith will be use to this. Not to mention that they love to bundle up those babies, no matter how hot it is. She will never had experienced air conditioning. And in April and May, it can still be pretty cold
here in New England. But many of the babies being adopted from VN are so tiny that pants fall right off them! So I figured dresses would work well because I don't have to worry about a waist or the length. And I can put tights and a onsie and a sweater to warm it up.And my mother is such a bad influence! She had me out shopping with her for Faith on Sunday. How can I resist all these winter clearances!? Macy's had cute outfits for like $5!!
And it doesn't help that my BF, Kristen, works at Gymboree and keeps telling me of all the CUTE CUTE stuff! And a good discount that she shares!
There is one dress that I had to buy. Is it the cutest one I got...no. But tell me how I could pass up a little dress with shamrocks all over it!?
Carter's had a whole line of St. Paddy's Day stuff. I did draw the line at the little onesie that said "Kiss Me, I'm Irish!" :-)

This is why I have boys! I would be even more broke than I am now if I had girls. I look forward to buying Faith some gifts too!
